My heart and deepest sympathy goes out to Sue’s family. Her all encomassing love, her quick wit and her big personality will be so missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Sue had the ability to make you feel better with a big hug, a cup of tea and an ear to listen. She was so special. What a life she lived, so kind, so courageous, so caring of even the lambs that weren’t her own. There will never be another like her. I’m glad to have happy memories together to cherish.

To the entire Cole family My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. We went to St Ita grade school together. May Sue rest in peace.

Sue was one of my dearest friends. We became neighbors in Rapid River in 2000 and had a connection immediately. She was like a sister and we spent many hours talking about our grandchildren over a glass of wine. We loved playing card games together, especially bridge of which she was a very good player. After she lost her husband Bill she was so courageous as her daughter Janet helped her make the decision to move to Chicago. I missed her so much but we would chat on the phone and get caught up on our lives. Her sudden health problems put restrictions on her lifestyle but not on her drive and attitude and determination. I pray that you, Sue, get good bridge hands in heaven and bid 6NT and make it. And that now that you are with your husband and sweetheart, Bill, may your days of happiness be endless. My condolences go out to your family. Love ya Sue, my birthday sister.

I am so sad to see this. Had a long phone chat with her in early March. She was getting ready to play cards. we both missed Bill. I missed my Bill also. So we were both in the same boat. Last time I went to visit them she cooked seven layer dinner. An old McGee dinner. I really enjoyed it and was happy she thought to have it. Lots of memories. The old pictures we laugh at. Bill is out in the woods and Sue is playing cards. Those are my Memories.
