Hoffmann, age 85, USAF Veteran; graduate of Leo High School, Chicago, received a Bachelors Degree from IIT, Chicago, and Masters Degree from the University of Dayton, Ohio, before beginning his career as a Mechanical Engineer; beloved husband of Alice, nee Carney, for 63 years; loving father of Lori (William) Scholz, Donald “Beau” (Michelle), Patricia (Michael) Segreti, John (Jina), Elizabeth (Steven) Lubertozzi, Jennifer (Patrick) Wagner and Alice (Reyna) Larson; proud grandfather of Colleen (Andrew) Nicholson, Patrick and Brianna Hoffmann, Jack Ryan and Kathleen Vos, Isabella Hoffmann, Matthew (Erin), Margaret and Frankie Soto; Alison (Corey) Kotsakis, Lillian, Madeline and Erin Wagner and great-grandfather of James Patrick and Bridget Kotsakis; cherished son of the late George and the late Margaret, nee Stanton, Hoffmann.
