I’m so sorry to hear of Shady’s passing. I’m sure she will be sorely missed. I remember her from Bellwood days as an extremely upbeat, sweet, and all-around giving person. She always had a smile on her beautiful face. My prayers are with all who love her.

It broke my heart to see the death notice for Shady this morning. I can only hope her passing was peaceful and filled with love. She was one of my dad’s favorites, and I will always remember her distinctive voice and infectious laugh. Please accept my good wishes for all her family, especially Mary Ann and Susy. May the angels lead Shady into Paradise.

To Mary Ann and all of Sharon’s family, I’m so very sorry for your loss! I met Shady when we subbed for a very large first grade class at Vis in the last three or four days before Christmas vacation several years ago. To say the kids were excited would be a massive understatement! She was enjoying these kids who all wanted her attention at once and often mid- sentence when everyone was trying to talk she would look over at me and let out that signature throaty laugh. We shared the best facial expressions in all the chaos and it was truly a fun and joyful experience. I was always so happy to see her after that! She was just delightful!
