Elizabeth A. “Liz” Whaley, nee Muzzy, age 65, after a brief battle with T-cell lymphoma, of Willowbrook, formerly of Elmhurst; longtime teacher with service at Visitation Grade School, District 205 – Elmhurst and District 96 – Riverside; beloved wife of James; loving mother of Kristen (Anthony) Whaley-Rigano, Katherine “Kat” and David (Brittany) Whaley; proud grandmother of Gabriella Mia and Anthony James Rigano; dear sister of David (Terri) Muzzy, Mary (Greg) Underwood, Alice Gately, Michael (Theresa) Muzzy, Carol (Jim) Gresens and the late Stephen (Patti) Muzzy and Peter (Percy Gibson) Muzzy; beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
