Ida Carriedo, age 79, nee Tijerina, of Elmhurst, beloved wife of Javier; loving mother of Jay (Gale), Theresa and the late Victoria Carriedo; proud grandmother of Christopher and Michelle Carriedo and Heather (Matt) Caviness and great grandmother of Connor, Devlin, Kenneth and Cassidy; dear sister of Fred Tijerina, Josephine Gil, Roy, Rick, Jesse, John and Jim Tijerina, Stella DeLatorre, Sandy Beyer, Greg, Mark Tijerina and the late Domingo, Bob and Linda Tijerina. Visitation Thursday, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst. Friends and family will meet for a Mass of Christian Burial Friday,  10:00 a.m. at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 426 North West Avenue, Elmhurst. .
