Walent, age 87, Army Veteran of the Korean War, member ASME, Alumni of University of Illinois and University of Chicago; beloved husband of Alice, nee Kurtz; loving father of Adrienne, Linda (John Whittingham), David (Lena), Kevin, Stephen and Douglas Walent; proud grandfather of Nicole and Owen Walent; dear brother of the late George (the late Julia) Walent and Yolanda (the late Henry) Stamborski; uncle of many.
