Kraus, age 86, resident of Elmhurst for over 50 years; Graduate of IIT and University of Chicago; Retired Engineer with ComEd; lifetime member of the Elmhurst Bicycle Club; beloved husband of Grace, nee Keslin; devoted father of Gabrielle; dear brother of Dorothy (Robert) Ransford and the late Edward (Judith) Kraus; dear uncle of Lisa, Pamela and Joseph. Visitation Monday, October 27, 2025, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst. Friends and family will meet for a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, October 28, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 426 N West Avenue, Elmhurst.
