Alma Nadean Dotson, nee Holbert, age 89, of Elmhurst, beloved wife of the late Paul; loving mother of Kerry (Sharon), Gary, Tim (Jean) Dotson, Paula (Gary) Eaves and the late Michael (Jean) Dotson and cherished mother-in-law of Gerry; proud grandmother of Culley (Jenny), Jamie Dotson, Kristie (Richard) Suwinski, Joshua Dotson, Jessica (Roy) Selvik, Peter Dotson, Emily (Zach) Polos, Joy (Sam) Pomeroy, Holly (Nick) Montecinos, Michael and Elizabeth Dotson, Gary (Fatima) Eaves, Alyssa (Alex) Sutor and Anthony and Ellyanne Eaves; great-grandmother of Cailey, Briana, Brayden, Isabella, Richard, Maelyn, Wesley, Levi, Lennon, Sonny, Clyde, Autumn, Brooke, Chloe, AJ, Hailey, Liam, Briella, Ryan, Emmy, Anthony, Oliver and Brody; dear sister of Norma (the late Lee) Billingsley.
“Ma Dean” as she was referred to, absolutely loved her family. The feeling was mutual.  She devoted her life to God and happily told others of His free gift of eternal life. She never missed an opportunity to visit with her family and in her spare time you might find her sewing, cooking, baking, playing games, taking walks, garage sales, crafting, oil painting, singing, or just helping others.
We miss her so much already but look forward to our sweet heavenly reunion.

Dearest warm loving thoughts of Nadean as a great friend to my Mom and our family for many years when we were neighbors on Second & Evergreen in Elmhurst. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed dearly. RIP and say Hi to our Mom & Dad in Heaven. The Hemmingway Family. God Bless.

Paula, Gary, & family – Although we were not able to attend your mom’s wake in person, we did join you virtually for the service, and she is also included in our daily prayers. Your picture gallery showcased her life beautifully, and the service was a wonderful, heartwarming tribute to her. Gary, you are an incredibly eloquent speaker and made your mother-in-law ever so proud! She is now with our Lord resting peacefully in the knowledge of a life well-lived, and lovingly watching over her entire family, as always. Sincerely, Chris & Teri Sarris
