Kathy, we are so sorry for your loss. Those words sound so trite, but believe me they are sincerely felt. Pre-covid, I believed we would be back in Courts+ and Don and I would give you grief about not being back at Tamara’s classes. So, covid changed that plan? You know Don always planned for you to be in his “forever” plan, I guess his body didn’t get that message?

Mrs. Gidcumb, Kara, Colleen and Brian,
My heart breaks for all of you. Mr. Gidcumb was like a second Dad to me growing up. I have so many great memories, but I always loved when he’d send me home with a big box of Keebler snacks for my brothers and I. Sending all my love and prayers from Colorado. I wish I could hug you all. Xoxo

Kathy & family…I’m so sorry for the passing of Finis. I met him at the Gardens when he was bartender back in the late 70’s! He used to feed me Vodka gimlets back then as he said “just to shut you up”
I then ended up working with him for a couple of years together at the Gardens!
Finis had a dry sense of humor and put up with me & my crew of friends that followed up at the Gardens after Finis & his crew of buddies at the Gardens. He was a good man, husband, father & friend to many people! God Bless
    RIP FINIS

Kathy and Family, we are so so sorry for your loss. This is shocking because it was sudden and unexpected. Wishing you strength in the days ahead. From the Gardens to the Fire Bell we shared many good times with Finis. We still play CD’s he made for us. A really good guy gone too soon.

So sorry for your sudden loss. We remember Donald and David growing up, next door to us, on Stratford Ave. We have many fond memories of the Woody, Dorothy and the boys, including playing ball with my children in the front yard. We kept in contact with Dorothy after “Woody”s passing, when she moved to Florida. So happy to read of his happy life and here’s wishing the family our very best. Julia

    Kathy, Kara, Colleen, & Brian,
I am so heartbroken. My deepest condolences to you all from our family. I reminisced a lot about how wonderful of a dad he was, and I can only assume an amazing grandpa too. He sure was one of my favorite people as a kid, he had the greatest laugh and sense of humor I will remember forever.
You all are in my heart tonight and always.

Oh Kath what a beautiful service for Finis (you did Great!) had tears running down my cheeks the whole time. I wish so bad that I could have been one of the faces you saw in the crowd, however circumstances beyond my control didn’t allow me to be there. Please know I was there in spirit for you and the kids. Just know if you need anything I am here for you. Love you.
