What a beautiful lady. I know you are blessed with wonderful memories as am I. Our many trips to Brookfield/LaGrange growing up were such fun times and being together for Gervase Family Reunions to “catch up” were special days. Ce is now with Sam, at peace and never to be forgotten. We keep you all in prayer as you go through the difficult days ahead. Love, Suzanne

My heart is broken thinking that we won’t hear your laugh anymore, that you won’t be sitting in the kitchen giving us our instructions on Xmas, and that all my great Xmas slippers are now a legacy to you. We will miss riding our bikes over to visit you on the porch. Your smile warmed a room your laugh was contagious, your love for all of us was so huge, we always felt the love of being family. I learned so much from you, and that sweet smile! Lessons etched in my mind forever. You were a great kind lady and your legacy lives on in your family. Rest easy with Sam and Teri, we got it from here…..

I got to know Ce when my Sam & I were married living in an apartment near her Mom & Dad’s when Ce & her Sam were living in an apartment at her parents home near us. So many wonderful memories. I will always remember Ce’s laugh as it alway left me with a good feeling. She will always have a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you Maribeth, Tracy and the rest of your family during this difficult time.

Maribeth,
Someone gave us this poem when Sarah graduated into eternity. We found it a great comfort that provided for the hope we all need when losing someone so close to us.
We give them back to thee, Dear Lord, who gavest them to us. Yet as though didst not lose them in giving, so we have not lost them by their return. What though gavest thou takest not away, O lover of souls; for what is thine is ours also if we are thine. And life is eternal and love is immortal, and death is only an horizon, and an horizon is nothing more than the limit of our sight. Lift us up, strong Son of God, that we may see further, cleanse our eyes that we may see more clearly; and draw us closer to thyself that we may know ourselves to be nearer to our loved ones who are with Thee. And while thou dost prepare for us, prepare us also for that happy place, that where they are and Thou art, we too may be for evermore.
With love, Tom and Kathy
And remember we mourn on earth… while heaven rejoices

Tracy and Maribeth our whole family is deeply sorry for your loss. I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Ce. She was truly a special woman whose family was the most important thing to her. She is now with her beloved Sam. Rest in peace Aunt Ce. We love you.

We are so heart broken and can’t imagine our days without Aunt Ce in it. We are so sorry for you and know that our memories are going to have to get us through this difficult time. Her laugh and gift to gab will live in our hearts forever. We love you Marinich cousins.

Mrs. Marinich meant the world to me when I first met her on about 1975 via Maribeth. I would go to the Marinich house on Keman to laugh my butt off….that Family would mercilessly torture me with their shenanigans. I was there one time helping make “white castle sliders” which truly were as tasty as the fast food joints! I broke an ashtray while I was there and Maribeth and Tracy said ” That is my Mom’s favorite ashtray….she is going to be so upset.” I felt awful in the pit of my stomach. Mrs. Marinich came in and played along as I suffered in silence only to endure the ruse for and hour or two. Even Sam got in on the agonizing plot. Then they all busted out laughing (at my expense). Apparently the ashtray was from a “Howard Johnson” hotel! Man I was relieved. That was the Marinich family I knew and LOVED! How they all roared with crazy laughter!!
I would also ride my bike and stop by at their 26th Place home. I ALWAYS felt welcomed, loved, happy, comfortable and cared for and about….like I was their family. Thank you God for lending each lovely Marinich to me…..Teri was my girl scout leader and me and Laura Scheman tortured her so I got you guys back sometimes. Me and Laura wanted to go for a walk in the woods at Camp Merrybrook. We ask Terry if we could go and then she turned around and ask the whole troop who else wanted to go. Me and Laura ran ahead and climb high up on a tree so they couldn’t find us as they forest walked. Me and Laura got in big trouble when we got back to Camp via Teri… Thanks a lot! I am certain that you and Sam are up to no good torturing more people in heaven… wish I was there. Until we meet again my dear De De….keep the Heavenly fires burning. I am so blessed to have known you and Sam and Terri. Never fear we will take care of the rest of your family while we are here. XOXOXOXO. LOVE FOREVER AND ALWAYS!❤️

It was a very sad day when we learned of Ce’s passing. We will truly miss her. The laughs we shared, the tears we shed, the good times we had, are now precious memories. Her contagious laugh, her bright smile, her love for everyone, her understanding ways…what great tributes for a special lady. We will miss our many trips together, being winning partners at cards, and the long telephone chats. Her door was always open for you and her hugs were always there. Ce is in her heavenly home and has Eternal Peace now. As much as we will miss her, we know she is in a beautiful place. She will join her husband Sam, and daughter Teri, who have gone before her. She was a truly remarkable lady who we will miss more than words can say. Goodbye special Lady. May you Rest In Peace with the Lord, ….our dearest friend. Until we meet again.
