Beloved Kay. Many years ago at an IC funeral (we both attended many) she laughed and said, “Will you come to my funeral, Father?” Of course, I said I would. My condolences to this fine family. Father Bill O’Shea (IC 1963-1967)

If there is anyone that I could call a second Mom between about second and sixth grade, it would be your Mom. What a wonderfully kind and gentle person. So many great memories of sleep overs and acting out “Mass” at the Revane homes, on both Columbia and Prairie, playing in that huge yard on Prairie. Good times!
Your Mom was one of the few people who always seemed genuinely glad to see me and she was such a special friend to Mom and Dad. We will all miss her, especially my Mom.

I have known Kay since they moved on Columbia St. Both she and her husband were special people. These past few years celebrating morning Mass I looked forward to her coming and teasing her. Last week after she went into hospice care I made a phone to her to bless her and wish her well on her way home to the Lord. I know how much she wanted to go and now she’s home with her Lord,

Dear Nancy & family,
We will certainly miss seeing your mom at the 9:00AM mass. Kay has been a part of our faith experience for many years and her life personified what the ideal model of a faithful, Catholic woman should be. Fr. Tom referred to Kay as saintly…indeed! Kay’s transition to new life, while a loss to you & your family, our parish & community and those who knew her personally, is truly heaven’s gain. May God bless all of you as He welcomes Kay home.

Mrs. Revane is one of the most welcoming people I know, probably because her whole face smiled when she saw you.
