Janousek, age 93, Graduate of St. Ignatius High School, Army Veteran, longtime Deacon at Visitation Catholic Church, Elmhurst; beloved husband of the late Violet, nee Simmons; loving father of Karen (Michael) Pendergast and Pat (Denise) Janousek; proud grandfather of Jeremiah and Zacheriah Haines and Joshua, Amanda and Patrick (Ashley) Janousek; cherished great-grandfather of Liam, Piper, Violet, Angelina, Jayden, Alyssa, Atticus, Jaxon and Alivia; dear brother of the late Rita Kollar, Eidth Hoffman and Don Janousek. Laying in State Monday, 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m. at Visitation Catholic Church, 779 South Madison (at Madison), Elmhurst. Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside.
