I love you Uncle Bill. I’ll never forget when I saw you walking into the church on the day of my wedding right before it was my turn to walk down the aisle. You tried to hold the door open for me and I told you thank you but it was kind of important I go in last, being the bride and all. : ) It meant so much to me that you came to my wedding, I know my Dad would have been happy you came too. Hugs and kisses to you and my Dad as well, as you guys get to hang out again now for eternity. Please watch over us and keep us safe always. Love your niece, Lynsey. Xoxo

Sweet Uncle Bill. Strong and silent. Yet always full of questions for you when he saw you bc he genuinely cared, always concerned for others. He loved his wife and his kids so, he raised 3 fine adults. He saw a lot in his life but would never tell you about any of the bad stuff. He made wearing ray bans and trucker hats cool way before they were cool. He could pretty much fix anything and could diagnose any problem for you. Thanks for letting us kids always stay at your house when we were little and climb all over you when I’m sure you didn’t want us to. Thank you for your service to our country. Thank you for the love you gave Aunt Mary and to yours and our families. A true gem, we will miss you but never forget you. LUB.

I am shocked to my soul. I am Bill’s first cousin, Sharon Todhunter, live Columbus, Ohio. I’ve been off FB for months and wasn’t aware of my beloved cousin’s passing. My deepest sympathy to Mary and all the children, grandchildren, siblings. He was the Best. I’ve lost the phone number for Bill, Mary since I moved into a retirement facility 5 plus years ago. What a sad day, loss for many.

I just learned of Bill’s passing when I received the Local 9 calendar yesterday, my condolences to his loved ones. It has been almost 40 years since I worked with Bill on a transmission line job. I was just a green groundman and he went out of his way to try to teach me some of the skills I would need for the trade. He was a humble and capable man, hardworking and by my reckoning, righteous. I consider myself lucky to have known him and morn his passing at such a young age.
