I am deeply saddened by the news of your loss and please accept my condolences on the passing of your wife, mother, aunt, sister and friend. Reggie as we all called her, was one of the first individuals that I met on campus at what was then called Briar Cliff College. She was so full of life and her exuberance for college life was something that all of us wanted to share with her. It has been over 40 years and her big personality, that beautiful smile and especially her full belly laugh, have never left my memory. I truly feel blessed to have known her. Reggie had a soft and giving heart and I can only imagine that she was a wonderful loving and caring wife/mother. May she rest in peace

Thanks Kirk for those comforting words. Regina was still that person to everyone who knew her. She was a great sister, mother, wife, aunt, and friend. She fought a long, hard battle with cancer for almost one year. She never lost her smile. She is at peace now. Loanne

Goodbye, my sweet cousin. I will always remember so fondly holidays our families spent together growing up, and the times mother and Tootsie dragged picnic baskets and floatie toys to the beach for us when we were little. Regina was the ringleader who made everything more fun. She has gotten her heavenly wings way too soon. I will miss her.

John, I was so sorry to hear about Reggie this morning. I have been thinking about all the laughs I had with her at Fenton, your wedding reception (Linda has always called it the best ever) and the blood drives that Reggie sponsored. We are saddened for you and your sons…its heartbreaking that she is gone and I will always remember how vibrant and funny she was. Tom Dunne

John and family, so very saddened to hear of your loss today. While I did not know your wife and mother, I know your father and can only imagine what a fine lady she must have been. It appears Regina spent as much time helping others as you have my friend. I hope you find solace in many fond memories shared with your family and friends over these very trying days. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless you all.

Dear John, Michael, Patrick, Connor, Daniel and extended family,

Truth be told, as Regina’s junior by four years, while late in grade school at Immaculate Conception, we interacted regularly with the Immaculate Conception High School students … and Regina was my first schoolboy crush!

Not just because of her external beauty, but also because of her internal beauty, manifested by being fun, funny and remarkably kind! Anyone who observed her in those days knew she’d be the great Mom she became.

Regina left the world better than she found it; thanks for sharing her with so many organizations and people.

Our sincerest condolences on your profound lost, words aren’t enough because it simply sucks! Please find some comfort in knowing that Regina and all her loved ones remain in our prayers for comfort and peace.

    With love,

The Terry (Kevil) & Tim Koch Family

    John,

I am so sorry to hear about Regina’s untimely death. You and your family must be devastated. The randomness of life and death remains a great mystery to me because it seems to arbitrarily spawn both intense happiness and profound sadness; sometimes, simultaneously.

Regina was a beautiful person, both inside and out, and will be greatly missed.
