Fred L. Simeoni, 87 of Elmhurst, passed peacefully after spending the day with his wife and family; graduate of Chicago’s Tuley High School (Roberto Clemente Community Academy). Army Veteran of the Korean War; former employee at Indesco with service as a Design Engineer; avid golfer, card player, Cubs fan and friendly addition to the Royal York community. He will be missed by all who knew him. Fred was the beloved husband of Julie, nee Hagmeier and the late Lucy; loving father of John (Cindy) Simeoni and Tina (Mark) White and step-father of Cyndi Christel and Steve (Merri) Odell; proud grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 5; dear brother of Linda (Jerry) Kozlowski. Visitation Saturday, February 9, 2019, 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial 9:15 a.m. at Visitation Catholic Church, 779 South York Road, (at Madison), Elmhurst.
