I remember Dr. Mejia well, from Elmhurst Hospital. She was devoted to her patients, and a pleasure to work with. My condolences to her family at her passing.

To Ate Letty’s family, I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s never easy losing someone we loved so dearly in death. May you take comfort in knowing that God too hates death. At 1 Corinthians 15:26 he tells us that “the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” We can have real hope in that promise from God because at Revelation 21:3,4 he promises us a time when there will be no more pain, suffering, or even death. I hope you too can find comfort in the scriptures as I have.
