Kevin Davitt, age 71, Native of Killasser, Swinford, County Mayo, Ireland; beloved husband of Margaret, nee Cunningham; proudest father of Kevin (Jacqui) and Mary (Sean) Duffy; proud and cherished grandfather of Margaret, Declan, Conor and Finn; dear brother of Ann Duffy and Evelyn Devine and the late Jimmie, John, Mary, Michael, Tony, Bill and Rita; loved son of the late James and the late Ellen, nee Hegarty; fond uncle of the best nieces and nephews. Kevin especially loved winters spent with family and friends at Sterling Village in Boynton Beach, FL. Visitation Monday, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral 11:00 a.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 noon at Saint Matthew Catholic Church, Glendale Heights. Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside.
