I was honored to call her my friend and looked forward to seeing her every time she visited her Chapel Hill family. I wil never forget the special times when Maddie was such a little girl and Phyllis was with the two of us for the day. We had long talks and she shared her life and her loves with me. She was a special lady, dignified, yet warm; intelligent; yet easy to act silly with us when the occasion was right. She was joyful and happy. She so loved her family and spoke so highly of each of you. You may never know a greater love than that of your Mother, your Grandmother, your Sister, your Friend. She was a diva kind of lady, which to me spells class. Yes, Phyllis had class and you didn’t have to know her long or well to see or feel it. God rest her beautiful soul. She is carried by angels to her place in the heavens. Be consoled by the perfection she has found: no more suffering, no more pain, no more indignity; only surrounded by love—an eternity of health, peace and love. Phyllis has gone home, but you will meet again on another dimension, in another world and she will be there waiting for you.
Affectionately and so sorry for your loss,
My Love, Priscilla

Aunt Phyllis has touched many hearts in a caring way throughout her life. I am grateful for fond memories of family times together and the example she set of how to show compassion for others. May the Lord bless her family and friends at this time.
