Visitation Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service 11:00 a.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst.     Mr. Capek was one of the best teachers Ive ever had. Im so glad I got to see & chat him at one of the last gatherings. He was a chatty & funny as ever.
    He will never be forgotten…

    My sincerest condolences, Mr. Capek was my science and photography teacher. He helped this troubled kid stay busy and care about grades at Churchville 79-82. R.i.p and thank you mr capek for all your mentoring

    There was no student that went through Churchville Junior High that didn’t come away with great admiration and respect for Mr. Capek. He was a beloved teacher and tremendous educator.
