We are fond friends if Dan’s older brother, Doug. We know Doug through his longtime significant other, companion, and loving friend Kathie Kotowski, who is our sister. Not knowing Dan personally, but learning some of his life and history through Kathie and Doug, Dan’s family, friends, and social and work life circles of people have experienced a deep loss with his passing.
It is not enough to say that a void is left his family’s lives with Dan gone. We wish he was someone whom we knew personally. Our sincere and heart-felt condolences to everyone whose lives Dan has touched. He will be remembered.
Let us pray: O Lord of all, pour your consoling grace upon all who mourn the passing of their loved ones. Hear our prayers for those we love dearly who have gone before us into Your everlasting loving hands. Look kindly on Dan whom we entrust to Your eternal mercy and goodness. Consider his deeds of caring, kindness, and goodness. Forgive him any sins he may have committed, and grant him the eternal reward of Heaven. Dear Lord, and all of the Saints and Angels, welcome Dan into the arms of our Blessed Mother, where tears are no more and human suffering ended…where there is complete fulfillment and peace in Your presence. We pray that the time will come when our souls will be reunited in the glory of Heaven and salvation. Amen.
With love, Sue and Rich Hewitt, Goodyear, Arizona.
