I am thinking of all of you!
I came across a quote recently – “When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.”
I have fond memories of Elaine and Eddie visiting my grandparents in Tennessee when I was growing up. I hope all of you cherish the memories you have of Elaine and find comfort each time you recall them!

I am terribly sorry for this incredible loss. I’m also very sorry that I’m not physically there. I’m happy to have been around some of the people she created, Hope, Dru, and especially Mo. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Love always. JT

  6. Kim (Tobolski) Mantegna says:

I just adored Elaine! She had such a way about her – always telling you like it is and never holding back. That, is what I think I liked best about her. She was funny, kind, and damn straight. She will be dearly missed. I don’t know if it is appropriate or not, but, since we ARE talking about Elaine…
…THANK YOU you for giving my brother (PK) so much shit over the years as he was growing up
…THANK YOU you for your wit and extraordinary vernacular
…THANK YOU you for always looking out for may Dad, and
…THANK YOU for being the coolest neighbor-Mom on the block!
My condolences to all the family – especially Mar, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. May you all find peace in the days ahead and comfort in knowing how loved and adored Elaine was in the eyes of others.

Leave your condolences.
