  1. Vito, you were my great friend and I do know how I am going to go to work without you there everyday to talk too. You meant so much not just to me but my mother also. She loved you like another son and this is one of the hardest losses I have had. I will constantly pray for your entire family and step up for them like I did with Victor and Gianna many years ago.

I love you brother, and Outdoor Education will never be the same.

We all were in shock to hear of Vito’s sudden passing. While I’ve known Vito for over 16 years, it amazes me to realize the numerous lives he touch both professionally and personally. Our hearts are broken, but find comfort in knowing that he is in a better place. We will miss his genuine personality, infectious laugh and his positive attitude. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. Love, The Shermak Family

It was with great sadness that we learned of Vito’s passing. Your family has been part of our lives since our son Evan and your daughter Francesca were just tiny. We then saw the addition of Joseph. Our lives have intertwined over the years and has been a blessing to us. Now we mourn with you as you embark on an unknown and difficult new path. We hope that our love and our prayers combined with those of so many others will help you on this new journey. We know that the loving grace of God and the sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ will carry you through even the darkest hours to bring you blessings and peace knowing that Vito is in his loving care. Just as you are. God bless you and your familiy. We love you.
