James W. “Rooster” Pfafflin, currently of Lombard, formerly of Bellwood, Veteran of the Merchant Marines in WWII, Graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science, Class 1950; lifetime member of Teamsters Local 727; beloved husband of the late Catherine M., nee Jacobs, loving father of Michael (Linda), Jim (Ellen), Larry (Amanda) and Mary Lemm; proud grandfather of Jennifer Pfafflin, Mindy (Chris) Steele, Brenda (Chase) Mitchell, Russell and William Pfafflin, Vanessa (Aaron) Van Schyndel, Elizabeth (fiancé Alex Hoekstra) Pfafflin, Katie (Tom) Heidrich and Sarah and Annie Lemm and great-grandfather of Clark Steele and Archer Mitchell; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
