I had the privilege of working with Peter at my SITC officer training and through early years when he was stationed with the USDA SITC program. When I met Peter I found a genuine good hearted person who told it like it was and always willing to help anyone out at any given time. I can only hope that other had the opportunity to meet such a nice good hearted person. A true example of integrity, honesty and kindness.
My prayers and condolences to the Nilles family.

    Dear Nilles Family,

I am so sorry for your loss of Pete! My brother Jay told me about of Pete’s passing. I will always remember living on Forest Avenue 2 houses down where we all grew up together. Playing tag and going to watch all the boys play hockey were some of my best memories. Please know I am thinking of all of you during this difficult time and wish I could be there to give you all a “big hug”. I am going to arrange to have a catholic mass said in honor or Pete at our church. Please know I am with you all at Pete’s memorial in my heart and that I love you all very much.

    Love, Jeanmarie Simpson (Bogdan)
