Bukowski, age 82, resident of Elmhurst, member of American Legion Post #187; beloved husband of Mary Lou, nee Seem; loving father of Jeanne (Richard) Nixon, David (Patty), Karen (John), Douglas (Jina), Christine, the late William and the late Ronnie Bukowski; proud grandfather of Rick, Rachel and Michelle Nixon, Daniel (Kristen) Bukowski, Emily and Christopher Boring, Anthony Bukowski, Laura (Emory) Brown, Michael, Kimberly, Timothy and Thomas Bukowski and Alexandra, Lillian and Katherine Bukowski; dear great-grandfather of Evelynn and Christopher J. Boring and Connor J. Bukowski.     I am most grateful for having the privilege to have known Ron. An inspiration, a good friend. May he now, after this life, which in retrospect we know in wisdom, is brief, be returned to the care and love of God

    Ron was a great family member! Also my daughter’s godfather, and truly a really good guy. . .good to me, my mom and my dad. A great father as well.

    Ron,gonna miss you . We had many laughs especially the ping pong table incident . Remember you going to bag a pheasant with a bow and arrow in my Mom’s back 40 . Rest easy you deserve it
